Coach Pitch (Tee Ball) $55

Coach Pitch is what we call our T Ball program. It's for players aged 4-6. Players will get 5 pitches from their coach and then the ball will be put on a batting tee. 

 

Season Info:

-Coach Pitch has one practice per week.

-Practice day is set by the Coach.

-Practice will be at the ball fields in Loami.

-Practice starts after April 1st

-Games start towards the middle of May and run through the end of June.

-10 game season. Most games played in Loami with a few in Waverly.

- Two games per week. Weeknight games are scheduled for 6pm and Saturday games in Loami are scheduled between 8am and 1pm. Saturday games scheduled in Waverly may be in the afternoon as they only have one field available. 

 

Games:

-Games are scheduled for two innings. (Approximately 1 hour)

-Everyone bats in each inning.

-A third inning may be played if the first two innings go quick.

-No games are scheduled on Sundays.

-Parents will be asked to work 1 game in the concession stand when on the main field. 

 

What your child will need:

• A glove and helmet

• A water bottle with their name on in

• (Cleats and Bat are optional)

The LNBYBL will provide Team Jersey and a team Bat.

 

Volunteer Coaches are always needed. 3-4 per team is recommended. If you volunteer and are selected to be the head coach your child’s registration fee will be refunded to you. During Registration there is a box to click if you are interested in coaching. This does not lock you in to coaching. If you click the box the league will contact you to discuss coaching details and you can decide then if you want to commit to Coaching. All volunteer coaches are provided a team Jersey.
